Easter is a wonderful time in England because we get 4 whole days off work! We went down to Chichester today with Mirra to a dog friendly bed and breakfast. We had our own little private garden (see above) and went to the beach at Bognor Regis and still have three days off. Thanks, Jesus!

We had a lovely family day at the beach in Southsea today! I promised Mirra I would take her to see ocean one day and while she wasnt that impressed she did actually run on the beach which was absolutely adorable!

Welcome to the first day of the decade!

We apparently had the same idea as everyone else in Northwest Surrey and went to Virginia Water for a morning walk. There were tons of people and dogs there, but we managed to find Mirra some space of her own.

Oh and hangover? None! Hooray for egg sandwiches before bed!

84/365: Mirra's First Night Out!

A dream came true tonight when we took Mirra to the Rose and Thistle for her first night out at the pub. In true Mirra fashion, she was unimpressed and slept for the majority of the night (which is good since I thought she would be pretty nervous)....

...but she even managed to capture the heart of one of Britain's finest...

We went to Virginia Water today, which is great for dogs since leash laws do not apply and everyone just lets their dogs run around. They were swimming in the lake, rolling in the leaves, chasing eachother and making me very nervous that they would get seperated from their owners! We tried to get Mirra to pose in front of the waterfall... this was easier said than done, however there was another dog there wh was very willing to jump in front of the camera everytime I pointed it at Mirra. Another lovely weekend day for the Hendersons x 3 :)

David took Mirra and I to Windsor today and Mirra promptly pooped on the Queen's lawn right outside the castle. Woopsie.

I found a fabulous groomer for Mirra and now she is looking gorgeous (albeit a bit grouchy).

I told many people before I moved to England that I would not be cooking meat for David's dinner, but I am now cooking meat for Mirra's dinner because she is turning up her nose at everything else. Hopefully this wont last too long... *finger crossed*

64/365: Mirra's Arrival!!

Me picking up a very shaggy Mirra from the Animal Reception Centre at Heathrow!

After a very long flight, Mirra was in desperate need of a bath!

I am pretty sure that David and I were much happier to have her here than she is to be here at this point :)

Whoops... I skipped a few days there with this terrible cold.
But today, there is news: Mirra is booked on a flight on October 16th!! As a little treat, I picked up some special food for her (mostly just because it has a cocker spaniel on the front).
