I know there is an unwritten rule somewhere that says everyone is supposed to love clothes that have been dried out on the line, but I kind of hate it for two reasons: Reason 1 - it makes clothes smell like bugs. Reason 2 - it gives bugs the opportunity to get in your clothes!
See the little dot on the clothespin below? He's a tiny spider and one of many who make their homes on my clothespins! How am I supposed to trust that spiders will not make their homes in my clothes as they are drying!?

My ear. It's completly blocked like I've been on an airplane and it won't pop. Apprently I have what is called "glue ear", which is a prefect name for it because it feels and sounds like someone has dropped a few drops of super glue in my ear. What it actually is is a build up a fluid in the inner ear caused by the ear infection I just had.
Here's the story: The cause is probably due to the Eustachian tube not working properly. The balance of fluid and air in the middle ear may become altered if the Eustachian tube is narrow, blocked, or does not open properly. Air in the middle ear may gradually pass into the nearby cells if it is not replaced by air coming up the Eustachian tube. A vacuum may then develop in the middle ear. This may cause fluid to seep into the middle ear from the nearby cells.

Lovely. And even worse, there is nothing that can be done about it - you just have to let the fluid drain, which usually takes 3 weeks. Blech.

It's our Anniversary today!! David bought us tickets to Love Never Dies (the Phantom of the Opera sequel) and it was amazing. I thought there was no way it could be as good as Phantom, but it was just as good. I cried like a baby at the end, but I wont spoil it for anyone who wants to see it. David said " I tried to do something nice on our Anniversary and I've made you cry!" How cute is he? :) My expert theatrical review = 2 thumbs up.

I am sick again! Here is our medicine cabinet that is filled to the gills thanks to my constant illnesses. I know its cliché, but I am honestly so sick of being sick. I went to the doctor today and she verified the theory that when you move to a new place, you experience new germs and simply never developed the antibodies to fight off the local strain of the common cold. I cant do anything about it and it can take people 10 years to develop the antibodies. Fan-freaking-tastic!

I've been a bit confused when I hear people referring to Easter eggs as a singular Easter Egg. "Did you buy so and so an Easter egg". I've been wondering why someone would only give or dye one egg?? Turns out, they dont dye eggs here nor do they buy the little plastic eggs and stuff them with candy. Here, an Easter egg is a hollow chocolate egg, sometimes with other chocolates inside it, but normally just with other chocolates in the box. Here is my singular Easter egg, but you know what I want? Jelly beans! I've not seen any jelly beans here. (and of course no Peeps!)

Easter is a wonderful time in England because we get 4 whole days off work! We went down to Chichester today with Mirra to a dog friendly bed and breakfast. We had our own little private garden (see above) and went to the beach at Bognor Regis and still have three days off. Thanks, Jesus!
