It's our Anniversary today!! David bought us tickets to Love Never Dies (the Phantom of the Opera sequel) and it was amazing. I thought there was no way it could be as good as Phantom, but it was just as good. I cried like a baby at the end, but I wont spoil it for anyone who wants to see it. David said " I tried to do something nice on our Anniversary and I've made you cry!" How cute is he? :) My expert theatrical review = 2 thumbs up.

I was wise enough to bring some Lucky Charms back from America (you can buy them here, but they are about £7 a box) and happily enjoyed this breakfast of champions this morning. Hmm marshmellows!

We went to the Colorado Railroad Museum with my dad today. Here's dad and me by the Galloping Goose (a train with a converted car as the engine). I love you, Dad!

I walk past this store every day since its right next to my bus stop. I love love love the dress in the window now and I know that the shopkeeper probably sees me gaze at it daily and thinks I am a wedding obsessed single girl waiting for the next man passing to propose to me. (which is of course why I couldn't take a photo straight on!)

Look at my new umbrella - its the same that The Queen uses apparently. Its a dome shape, but clear so you can see in front of you and actually keeps you dry unlike every other umbrella I have ever owned. Imagine that!

We're having the "worst storm in 50 years" in Surrey and for once the Met Office (the weather people) got this one right. Its been snowing non-stop since about 11pm last night and now at 4:42pm, its still coming down very heavily. No work today and I cant imagine that things will be drastically improved tomorrow. Hooray for snow days!!

David took Tina and I to Hampton Court Palace today. I love it love it! ... Probably because its the only part of British history that I really know anything about and it makes me feel smart :) I didnt get a picture of it, but very close to the Palace is a pub named The Cardinal Wolsey! I must go there one day.

Tina is here to visit!! And look at all the goodies she brought me. Seriously a grown woman should not be this happy to see a box of Velveeta cheese. (Notice David in the background disgusted by this assortment... what does he know?)

55/365: The greatest invention of all time

A very nice woman at work noticed that I kept turning down tea each of the 10 or so times a day it was offered to me, and she knows that instant coffee is pretty gross, so she introduced me to this wonderful invention!! Its a single cup coffee filter - it just sits on your mug and you pour water in the top and it brews just like in a coffee maker. Awesome!
